Spain Food and Wine News: Spaniards win awards in UK
Despite the Euro economic storm clouds, there was good news for two very enterprising Spanish expats in London.
Spanish restaurateur, Abel Lusa, who owns five restaurants in London, was also named ‘On-trade Personality of the Year 2012’ by the renowned UK publication, The Drinks Business.
Another award, the 1st edition of the Harpers Awards, from the prestigious UK trade magazine Harpers, also had a Spanish twist as Spanish chef Jose Pizarro was named ‘On-trade Personality of the year’ in the wine and hospitality category. Mr Pizarro owns two restaurants in the UK capital,
